Club Information

Are you interested in
motoring, vehicle restoration or motor sport?

If so, the Austin 7 Club of SA Inc. may be the club for you.

Members of the Austin 7 Club of SA Inc. enjoy a great social atmosphere with the motor car as the focus. Our members have many interests relating to the humble motor vehicle. With interests ranging from restoration of vintage cars from many makes and models to racing modern ‘high tech' purpose built racing cars.

Many of our members enjoy using their classic vehicles for organised tours which nearly always include hearty meal breaks. Others are involved with motor racing as an official or as a competitor.

As a member of the Austin 7 Club of SA Inc. your enjoyment of your motoring hobby can be enhanced.

Vehicle Restoration

Restoring cars is one of the main areas that club members are involved in. The club is a great forum for exchanging ideas on the subject, and often club members will assist each other finding those hard to get parts or services. Whilst the club, in general, is focussed on the Austin 7 and other Austin models, it is very much an all cars club.

An Austin 7 spare parts service, with both new and used parts at reasonable rates is available to members. The Spare Parts Service ( for members only ) is open from 7:00pm on General Monthly Meeting nights and also preceding the Austin Seven Enthusiasts' Nights.

Historic Registration Scheme

The Austin 7 Club of SA Inc. participates in the Historic Registration Scheme . Cars older than approximately thirty years can be registered for road use at greatly reduced registration fees. This allows the car to be driven on the road for 90 individual days in any year on a log book system. You must be a member of a participating car club to take advantage of this scheme. (Conditions apply - see Transport SA website)

Motor Sport

Many members are involved with one or more of the many facets of motor sport. Some are drivers competing in various classes of motor sport, whilst others undertake a range of official duties at any of the motor sport events held each year. There are many ways to get involved in motor sport. If you are interested let the Austin 7 Club of SA Inc. help you.
